CVD diamond-coated drawing abrasives are made of cemented carbide (tungsten steel) as the base. Micron-level and nano-level diamond composite coatings are applied to the inner hole surface of the abrasives by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), and the coating is precisely ground and polished to obtain a new mold.
The nano coated drawing die has high surface finish, low drawing stress and little damage to the metallographic structure of the drawing metal. Compared with the carbide drawing die, the working life of the nanometer drawing die is almost 10-20 times that of the carbide drawing die, and the surface finish of the wire rod obtained is also very good.
